Homemade Barbecue Sauce
20—25 MinThe classic among barbecue sauces! Kotányi chili flakes give our BBQ sauce its particularly hot and aromatic flavor. Of course, our entire collection of Kotányi chili mills are suited for this.
Ingredients 4 Portions
- 300 mlKetchup
- 200 gBrown Sugar
- 50 mlWater
- 60 mlVinegar
- 1 ELWorcestershire sauce
- 1 ELOlive Oil
- 2 TLPaprika Special Sweet
- 1 ELChili Extra Hot Granules
- 1 PriseSea Salt, Coarse
- 1 PrisePepper Black, Whole
Preparation

In a saucepan, stir all the ingredients together and bring them to a boil. Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally while cooking.

If desired, adding extra chili gives this sauce a spicy kick. Fill the finished sauce into a clean mason jar while still hot, seal with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator for up to a few weeks.
