Cardamom Nut Crackers
30—40 MinA quick snack between meals or a treat for your lunch box, these cardamom nut crackers are crunchy, nutty and delicious. A surefire hit! Different nuts can be used depending on what you have in the cupboard, and raisins or other dried fruit also make a great addition.
Ingredients 5 Portions
- 1 Egg white
- 5 tbsp.Honey
- 70 gSesame seeds
- 110 gAlmonds, chopped
- 120 gSunflower seeds
- 2 gChia seeds
- 1 tsp.
- 1 pinchSea Salt, Coarse
Preparation

Beat the egg whites with salt until the mixture forms firm peaks, then fold in the honey and ground cardamom.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 120 °C (356°F).

Shape 15–20 crackers out of the mixture, place on a baking tray lined with baking parchment and bake for 20–30 minutes at 120°C (248°F) using the fan setting and enjoy.
