Presents, decorations, shopping: we are all busy preparing for Christmas. To make sure you don't have to worry about your Christmas menu, we have put together a stunning menu for you. You don't have to spend long in the kitchen or be a professional chef to whip up these memorable three courses.

The starter: Lukewarm-sweet and creamy-spicy

Peppered beetroot not only puts a smile on your face, but also a beautiful red colour on your plate. Mixed with yellow plums and the brightness of goat’s cream cheese, the result is a real eye-catcher that is also very easy to prepare: lukewarm beetroot with caramelised plums and goat’s cream cheese. Our tip: while the beetroot bakes in the oven for an hour, you can prepare the main course.

The main course: creative and tasty

Admittedly, the main dish on our menu looks familiar at first glance. But as soon as you try it, you are surprised by the unusual flavours of this sophisticated recipe. The maple syrup gives the duck breast a subtle sweetness and the pumpkin with gingerbread spice has a festive, spicy flavour. Together with the spicy chilli potato noodles, the result is a delicious combination that people will still be raving about next Christmas: Duck breast with fiery potato noodles and spicy baked pumpkin.

By the way: if you replace the duck breast with king oyster mushrooms, our entire Christmas menu is vegetarian. Marinate the mushrooms with a little chopped garlic, soya sauce, balsamic vinegar, thyme, maple syrup and oil and then fry them for 5 minutes on each side. Delicious gravy included.

The dessert: Fancy and tempting

We have come up with something very special to round off the day. We turn the classic apple strudel into a little sensation that not only looks great, but tastes great too. The frozen strudel filling is twisted into small pockets in the dough – baked until golden brown, it then slowly melts into its crispy shell: iced apple strudel with honey dates. The apple mixture needs to be frozen for around 12 hours so that it can be processed perfectly – so you can start preparing it the day before, which takes the stress out of the important day.

Napkins should also not be missing from the holiday table. We’ll show you a gread folding technique for your napkins that will definitely impress your guests.

The special addition: Splendid cocktail

In addition to this menu, we recommend a creamy honey gingerbread cocktail. You can make a cinnamon-sweet apéritif from Christmas eggnog, which you can sip while you cook. The honey gingerbread spice mix that you need for the cocktail is also used for the main course.

If you didn’t find the perfect dish for you in our menu, you’re sure to find the right Christmas dish in our recipe collection. We hope you enjoy preparing it and wish you bon appétit!
